Contact proofs of Susan and Holly's photo shoot. While some photographers dislike showing their proof sheets, I don't mind it at all. You can learn a lot about a photographer's style by viewing his or her contact sheets. It also serves to dispel the myth that professional photographers take a lot of shots at a photo session so they can get one or two good ones. We usually take a lot of photos so we will have lots of good shots to show to the client. You can view several of my contact proof sheets on this site to give you an idea of how I shoot a photo assignment, including some of my many shooting techniques. |
