Horses are one of my real loves I have been riding horses since I was a small kid (even a Sicilian donkey in Italy that my aunt owned), but I never had one of my own until I was an adult (despite waiting every Xmas as I was growing up for that ever elusive pony that Santa always forgot to bring :). I also never got the polar bear cub I always expected my dad to bring home from his commercial fishing trips to Alaska Santa, and dads, can be so forgetful at times. For more photos of me and some of the horses I have had the pleasure of caring for, click on the above picture. |

Scuba diving was one of the sports I loved to do. I have made dives in most of the world's great waters. But alas, I quit diving when those same waters became too polluted to even wade in. Why do we, could we, allow this to happen? When will we finally realize that the earth is not our collective personal garbage can? Armageddon will not befall us in the form of a bolt of lighting from the sky, it will occur when we have polluted our oceans, waterways, and atmosphere to the point that our earth can no longer support human life. |

Skiing was my favorite non competitive sport of choice. At one time, I practically turned into a ski bum, following fresh powder all over the world. From helicopter drops in the Alps, to snow cat rides up high untried slopes in Portillo, there are very few worthwihle ski slopes in the world I have not skied on. It takes a while to get it right, but once you do, there's no better or more satisfying high in the entire world. |

You
can't start them young enough
